The Creative Garden is a coaching and consultancy practice, specialising in enhanced creative and communication skills. It encompasses two other branches, The Talent Garden providing coaching and presentation skills and The Strategy Garden which advises on the route to long term success. We focus on using thinking tools to transform our clientsÕ approach enabling them to create outstanding results, both professionally and personally. We provide consultancy in all areas of new media and broadcasting and to others who wish to work in a more creatively. Our clients include individuals and groups from broadcasting, new and future media, internal communications, retail and manufacturing. Sarah Baynes is the key member of the team. She is supported by a wide range of qualified associates. Sarah Baynes Creative and Communication Coach Sarah moved to Channel 4 Television from a background in the design world. She was responsible for programmes in areas such as News and Current Affairs, Sport, Arts and Entertainment, Youth and ChildrenÕs and was always part of new ground breaking concepts. She commissioned and acquired programmes for the ChannelÕs Youth and ChildrenÕs output. She was commissioner for The Big Breakfast from its inception in 1992 and later T4. She executive produced programmes including the drama, AS IF and was part of The Big Brother advisory team. She was a member of team that established the first UK terrestrial TV website and she went on to chair the Channel 4Õs Web Board. As an active member of BAFTA she has produced several debates and sits on the Events and Education Committee and the ChildrenÕs Committee. She moderates at conferences including Mipcom and Milia. Sarah is a qualified NLP Master Practitioner and has a diploma in life coaching. Coaching and Mentoring Using coaching and mentoring skills we work alongside individuals, projects and businesses to assist them in identifying and achieving their goals. We help them to clarify, plan, execute and achieve a road map to their business or life aspirations. Our creative catalysts are bespoke and range from one-off brainstorms, coaching creative individuals, providing executive production input and enhancing new media projects. We act as mentor for the process and can provide Creative thinking workshops for groups wanting to kick-start fresh ideas. Facilitation Groups We facilitate groups and meetings providing a clear, neutral focus for projects and teams. We are an objective voice, providing clarity and direction, fast- forwarding the process and fostering accountability among members of the team. Using many years of experience and coaching techniques we draw out the key issues and identify a way forward to reach objectives. Our team building skills ensure that all parties are included and feel part of the result. Presenter Skills Through The Talent Garden we provide Presenter Skills training. These courses are bespoke for both on-screen talent and those who make public presentations and business pitches. We work directly with presenters; via broadcasters, producers, agents and pr companies. Workshops We provide a bespoke workshop process. We work with the client to identify the underlying reason for having a workshop, then package the process in a creative and engaging format, setting out clear objectives and goals for the team.
